Andrea Groom MSc
Consultant and Business Development Manager
Andrea has extensive change management experience both in terms of leading change in complex systems and consulting to individuals, teams and organisations. Andrea is a skilled coach and has designed and facilitated leadership development programmes. She is a qualified MBTI practitioner and a trained process consultant (Tavistock Certificate in Advanced Process Consultancy). Andrea also has an MSc in Management Development and Social Responsibility where she actively researched successful ways of working with teams and organisational dynamics in order to meet business objectives.
Andrea has previously worked as a Clinical Operational Director in Independent Healthcare (IHC) and was part of the initial team responsible for establishing and delivering the King’s Fund Organisational Audit Accreditation programme where she worked with NHS and IHC providers and consulted to various European Ministries of Health. She has a strong operational background and her experience within organisations includes facilitating matrix management working, notably design and development of Healthcare Commission’s regional working; team and business development and implementation; training and the introduction of quality systems. Andrea has an in-depth understanding of healthcare inspection and how to align assessment and performance management with recommendations for improvement.
