Actively engaging with health issues and their impact on organisational effectiveness is a complex and sensitive area. To deliver operational benefits and return on investment (ROI), Health and Wellbeing strategies need to integrate a range of disparate services and address three main areas:
Health promotion: Improving performance, energy and resilience levels by enabling practical, sustainable behaviour change.
Health management: Providing active management to minimise the impact of physical and mental health issues on the performance of individuals and teams.
Absence management: Reducing days lost to sickness absence through active, constructive engagement with those affected.
