Paul is a coach, consultant and mediator with extensive experience of working with clients in the public and corporate sectors. In addition, he has spent 10 years working in the field of individual and group therapeutic counselling, using his wide experience of psychological methodologies. He has completed post-graduate training with the Institute of Psychosynthesis together with an MA in working with groups with the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. Recently he completed a post-graduate diploma in executive coaching using a Gestalt orientation. Paul is also accredited in alternative dispute resolution and mediation. Experience in this field informs and complements his present work, supporting the resolution of clients’ conflicts – both personal and interpersonal.

His experience encompasses over 20 years as a chartered accountant and insolvency practitioner (IP), including 4 years working with governmental and multi-national bodies in East Africa. As an IP he directed teams of professionals in the ‘treatment’ of distressed businesses of all sizes and in a variety of industries. This led to the development and provision of compliance and monitoring services to the insolvency industry while developing therapeutic work.

Paul has experience of delivering leadership development within education and has also worked with local authorities, educational institutions, NHS Trusts and the Probation Service, dealing with issues including substance abuse, personality disorders, crises of meaning, and critical illness counselling. He has facilitated parenting workshops and group work for mature students training in health care. His focus is on working with individuals, both professionally and personally, to enable them to develop their potential within their organisations and within their own lives.
