Dr Shankarnarayan Srinath
Consultant
As well as being an experienced organisational consultant Srinath has been a Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychotherapy in various health service settings. His specialist experience is in helping people to understand the connections between mind and body. Srinath has wide ranging experience of one-to-one coaching and consultancy, for example team development and change management support, and has been a staff member for the Tavistock Group Relations Conference. He has extensive experience of training professionals in the health service for example he ran a programme for Consultant Doctors in mentoring overseas graduates for the London Deanery and has coached new Consultant Doctors and multidisciplinary staff in a service.
He is also a trainer for specialist registrars and provides supervision on a one-to-one, group and workshop basis. He has been a member of the Cambridge University Health Services Committee and is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Cambridge University. He also has experience of organising and chairing public lectures on psychotherapy and organisational behaviour.
