Consultant

Sue a Chartered Psychologist and experienced Executive Coach. She has 28 years experience of working in health and educational contexts, firstly teaching in a co-ed. Comprehensive school, for 8 years as Head of Middle School, then as an Educational Psychologist. In 1999 she took up a post as Consultant Child & Educational Psychologist and Director of Educational Psychology Professional Training & CPD Doctorate Programmes at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust, where she was also Vice Dean of Training in the Child & Family Directorate. Sue was Professional Advisor for Child & Adolescent Mental Health at the DfES, has been a staff consultant on the Tavistock Institute Group Relations Event for the past 3 years, and has worked as an Associate Consultant for the Tavistock Consultancy Service.

Her consultancy work is wide ranging and includes Executive Coaching to Senior Leadership Teams, working for a large county local authority with a special school in special measures, and evaluations of psychosocial training in Kosovo and Belgrade for the International Organisation for Migration. Sue is a Fellow of the University of Essex, an External Examiner at the University of Birmingham, and a Trustee of the Mulberry Bush School, Oxfordshire. She is the author of a number of articles and book chapters, and of a book on School Exclusion published in 2005.
